HUG – Hydrogen UnderGround
Large scale Hydrogen underground storage is a key enabler of the hydrogen economy – it allows hydrogen production and consumption to be decoupled from each other, and thus stable H2 distribution to its users.
The aim of the HUG-project is to create the basis for a large-scale underground hydrogen storage concept for the Finnish hydrogen business and technology ecosystem.
At the same time, it will create a competitive advantage for international business including new technologies and services.
